Our trip to Stonehenge started with a sunny morning. We arrived and looked for the menhirs. After that we went to Salisbury. We saw the Salisbury Cathedral and Magna Carta. And here we found out that Magna Carta is one of the most famous documents in the world. It says that everyone – even the monarch – must obey the law. Written in Latin over 800 years ago, Magna Carta still informs understanding of freedom, justice and equality today. We also saw the oldest working mechanical clocks. Tomorrow, back to London downtown.
