Marcela Vlkannova | Aktuality
We left for London in the morning. Our trip started in Greenwich. This part of London is known for its maritime history and the prime meridian is located there. Then we took a boat ride on the river Thames and we floated under Tower Bridge. It can be lifted when a big boat needs to drive through and even the King would have to stop. After the ride we went past HMS Belfast, the ship which joined the fighting in World War II. We had lunch near St. Paul’s cathedral. It was built by Christopher Wren in 1666 and it is his masterpiece. We finished our day at Tower of London. We saw the Crown Jewels there. It is said that if six ravens leave the Tower, London will face bad times.
