From the Italian school to Cannes

Today we visited an Italian school in Ventimiglia. The teachers and students welcomed us and showed us around the whole school. We took part in different lessons, such as art, French, English and PE. After school, we also went for lunch. Some of us had a traditional Italian pizza, while others went to McDonald’s for a burger.

In the afternoon, we went to Cannes, a town in France. First, we walked along the promenade with palm trees, and we even went swimming in the sea! We finished our visit with a walk through the old town to the building where the famous film festival takes place.

Then we went by bus along a luxury street and passed the famous Carlton Hotel, where Hollywood stars stay during the film festival. We ended the day by shopping for ourselves and our families.
